中板開平機(jī)：
是專門加工熱軋卷的設(shè)備，一般加工能力為厚度3mm到14mm。早期的中板開平機(jī)只能開至大寬度為1500mm的熱軋卷，隨著寬幅熱軋卷的推出，如今各加工點(diǎn)所上的熱軋開平機(jī)一般都能開2000mm寬的熱軋卷。部分熱軋開平機(jī)還帶有切邊功能。
薄板大開平機(jī)：
一般能夠加工0.3mm～3.0mm厚度的冷軋卷。早期薄板開平機(jī)一般只能加工至大寬度為1300mm的冷軋卷，但隨著1500mm的冷軋卷的廣泛應(yīng)用，1500mm寬度開平機(jī)很快就占據(jù)了市場(chǎng)。冷軋開平機(jī)加工能力主要體現(xiàn)在矯平、表面保護(hù)、跺料等方面。
小開平：
一般指加工至大寬度為800mm以下冷軋卷的開平機(jī)，加工厚度為0.3~3.0mm。和薄板大開機(jī)一樣，它主要加工高要求的冷軋卷，尤其是對(duì)表面保護(hù)要求，一般更高，其產(chǎn)品一般都是定開的薄板，廣泛用于沖壓、準(zhǔn)確裁減等方面。
